Facts on this site come from federal, state, and local agency documents and manufacturer manuals first, with dated verification and a published correction path.

Source hierarchy

Facts are sourced in a strict, official-first order. Higher sources override lower ones when they conflict:

1. Federal regulations and agency documents — the actual rules and bulletins, such as OSHA standards and NIOSH alerts.
2. State and local government pages — state agency programs and local permitting and licensing pages.
3. Manufacturer manuals — the maintenance and safety guidance for specific equipment.
4. Vendor statements— used only to describe that vendor’s own terms, never as evidence for a general claim.

The primary-source directory itself lives on the references page, where each document is linked with its identifier and verification date.

Verification dates

Each sourced page carries a verification date. That date changes only when the underlying document is actually rechecked — never automatically and never to look fresh. If a date has not moved, it is because the source was not re-verified, not because the page was quietly edited. Regulations, agency bulletins, and permitting pages do change, so a date that is older simply means the source has not been revisited since that day, and the claim should be treated as accurate as of that date.

What stays out of sourced claims

Where this site cannot point to a primary source for a factual statement, it stays in plain operational description instead of reaching for an external fact. General explanations of how a baler gate or a compactor interlock behaves are written as operating logic, not dressed up as citations. A claim gets a source, or it gets written as the general description it actually is — it does not get an invented reference.

Correction policy

If something on this site is inaccurate, email corrections@example.invalid with the page URL and the specific correction. The claim is checked against its primary source. If the site is wrong, the page is corrected and the verification date is updated to the day of the recheck. Corrections are handled as content fixes, not as customer complaints.

AI-assistance disclosure

Drafting on this site is AI-assisted. Artificial intelligence helps write and structure the text, but every factual claim is source-verified by the publisher against a primary source before it ships. AI is a drafting tool here, not the authority for any fact.

What this site refuses to publish

To keep the sourcing honest, this site will not publish any of the following, whether AI-generated or not:

• invented credentials, licenses, or certifications;

• prices, estimates, or quotes.

Timing and pricing come from the provider directly. Anything this site cannot source or verify is left off the page.
